In Portugal we don’t say “it’s alright, I forgive you”, we say “deus nosso senhor me dê paciência e um paninho para a embrulhar, antes que eu te parta a tromba toda, seu cabrão de merda, era quem te enfiasse uma seringa das farturas no olho do cu”, which literally means “the soul in me respects and forgives the soul in you” and I think that’s beautiful.
