please. when writing your responses, PLEASE make sure that there’s actually something to respond TO.

if its your own character doing something else that doesn’t involve the other character at all or barely interacts with the other character, that puts a ton of burden on your partner to somehow find a way to keep things moving. if your reply is essentially this (once you scrape away the fluff writing):

“character A says “yeah thats cool” and sits down on a chair.”

it’s a bad fucking reply. nothing meaningful happens and you didnt even try to prompt a response/reaction from the other character.

add some dialogue! add an interesting action! have your character fucking interact with the other character! your partner is not a fucking court jester there to entertain you with their improv. roleplay is a cooperative thing! if you can’t cooperate then why are you here.
